Update Your Pricing with MassPrice
MassPrice helps Pro Sellers quickly price products for sale on the TCGplayer Marketplace or Buylist. It automates pricing updates through rule creation and scheduling, saving time and relieving the pain of manually updating prices. This app leverages the same price APIs we provide to our affiliates and developers.
To get started, simply log into the app using your TCGplayer account info or by using the "MassPrice" button in the Pricing tab of your Seller Portal. Then, follow these three steps:
2. Define your rule’s pricing, and minimum or maximum prices
Define Products
If you have a Pro Seller by TCGplayer account and are using MassPrice, the first thing you need to do is group your products.
1. Click the "Create New Rule" button.
2. Choose which prices you'd like the new rule to update:
- Select "My Selling Prices," if you want to update pricing on the TCGplayer Marketplace, or for your "My Store” Channel
- Select "My Buying Prices," if you're looking to update Buylist prices
3. Next, name your rule (e.g. Mythic Rares) using the text box at the top of the screen.
4. Determine which products will be updated when your rule is run. You can select multiple options, and the rule will apply to all of your choices. Option areas include:
Update Products
Choose which products will be updated when the rule is run.
- Any with Price: When selected, all products you have a price for, including items with 0 quantity, will be updated when the rule is run.
- My Inventory Only: When selected, only items you have in stock will be updated. This does not include items with 0 quantity.
Update Channel
Choose which Channel will be updated when the rule is run. This option is only available when updating your Selling Prices
- TCGplayer Marketplace Prices - When selected, the Marketplace Price for the products outlined in the rule will be updated. This is the default option when only one channel (Marketplace) is enabled.
- My Store Prices - When selected, the My Store Price for the products outlined in the rule will be updated. This option is only available when the My Store channel is enabled.
Category (required)
Choose the product category you want to update, then select the desired Group, Rarity, Printing, Condition and Language for the chosen Category.
Note: Selecting additional criteria will dynamically populate the available options remaining. For example, if you select Category = Magic, the Group will only display Magic options instead of all groups for all product lines.
Price Filter
When selected, only products that you have priced within the desired range will be updated.
When the correct product groups have been selected, click "Continue" to move on to Step 2: Defining Pricing
Define Pricing
After defining your products, the next step of creating your rule is defining how those products will be priced.

- TCG Market Price
- TCG Low Price Without Shipping
- TCG Low Price + Shipping

2. Use the“Modify by” section, to set if you want your pricing as a percentage, or a set dollar amount above or below your chosen price point. Do this by:
- Selecting the amount
- Selecting +$, -$, +% or -%.
3. Click "Continue" to define the pricing threshold
For Selling Prices, set your minimum (the lowest price at which you want to sell your products).

After defining your minimum, set your safeguard to skip price updates that lower your prices by more than a set percentage. This will protect your prices from sudden price drops.
For Buying Prices, set your Maximum (the highest price you want to offer to buy products from players).
Select from the following price points:
- TCG Buylist Market Price
- TCG Buylist High Price
- TCG Market Price
- TCG Low Price Without Shipping
- TCG Low Price + Shipping
- TCG Direct Low
- My Current Price: Buylist
- My Current Price: TCG Marketplace
- My Current Price: My Store
- Fixed Amount - If you select this option, enter a positive number with two decimal places.
4. Use the“Modify by” section, to set if you want your pricing as a percentage, or a set dollar amount above or below your chosen price point. Do this by:
- Select the amount
- Select +$, -$, +% or -%.
5. After defining your maximum, set your safeguard to prevent price increases over a certain percentage. This will prevent you from paying more than you are comfortable with on Buylist purchases.
6. Click 'continue' to complete defining your minimum/maximum. You will be taken to a page where you can review or edit your rule. Use this page to preview, save, or test run your rule.
Note: It's highly recommended that you use the "Preview Rule" button prior to running a rule for the first time. This will allow you to view the changes that will be made before they're put into place.
Clicking the "Run Rule" button will apply the rule immediately, and being to update prices.
Running MassPrice Rules
Once you've saved a rule, you can go back and use it as many times as you'd like.
To run your rules:
