How Do Store Credit & Gift Cards Work?

The following are the terms and conditions applicable to TCGplayer.com Store Credit Balance and TCGplayer.com Gift Cards.

Redemption.

TCGplayer.com Gift Cards ("Gift Cards") convert to TCGplayer Store Credit when redeemed. TCGplayer Store Credit may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services provided by TCGplayer.com. Your My Account page displays the total remaining balance of all Store Credit that has been applied to your TCGplayer.com account but not yet applied to a purchase. Any unused TCGplayer.com Store Credit will remain associated with your TCGplayer.com account. If a purchase exceeds your TCGplayer.com Store Credit, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method.

Refunds.

Any orders that are purchased with split payment (in which a gift card or store credit—including store credit that was received via promotional Store Credit [previously Bonus Bucks]—was used, and the remaining balance was paid with a credit card or Paypal account) will receive a refund credit to your store credit balance first (up to the amount paid on the refunded purchase with the gift card or promotional Store Credit). Then, the remainder of the refund will be issued to the other payment method used for the order.

Limitations.

Your TCGplayer.com Store Credit cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards. When purchasing a TCGplayer.com Gift Card with other merchandise, existing TCGplayer store credit cannot be used as a method of payment. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. No portion of your TCGplayer.com Store Credit may be transferred to another TCGplayer.com account. Purchases using Store Credit are eligible for promotional Store Credit (previously Bonus Bucks).

Risk of Loss.

The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost or stolen or if your TCGplayer.com Store Credit or Gift Card is used without your permission.

Use of TCGplayer.com Store Credit or any Gift Card in Violation of these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to void Gift Cards or any other component of your TCGplayer.com Store Credit, close customer accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect that a Gift Card is obtained, used or applied to an TCGplayer.com account (or is applied to a purchase) fraudulently, unlawfully or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions.

Limitation of Liability.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS OR YOUR TCGPLAYER.COM STORE CREDIT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

General Terms.

The TCGplayer.com Terms of Service apply. When you purchase, receive or apply a Gift Card to your account or your TCGplayer.com Store Credit to a purchase, you agree that the laws of the State of New York, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these terms and conditions and any dispute that may arise between you and TCGplayer related to your use of a Gift Card or your TCGplayer.com Store Credit. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. If any of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.

TCGplayer.com Store Credit Expiration.

TCGplayer.com Store Credit does not expire and may continue to be applied to your TCGplayer.com purchases.
