How do I set up my store's TCGplayer Buylist?
If you have either a Pro Seller account, or if you're enrolled in Direct, congratulations! You’re eligible to purchase cards from players using the TCGplayer Buylist. This will help you get the exact cards you want at the exact price you’re willing to pay.
Here’s how to get started with Buylist:
First, navigate to the TCGplayer Buylist tab in your Seller Portal. You'll see a prompt to opt into the Buylist program, along with the opportunity to review Buylist documentation and our Terms of Service.
Once you've opted in, set up your withholdings (the amount of money from your TCGplayer account that you want to reserve for Buylist purchases).
Note: If you do not want TCGplayer to buy cards on your behalf, you can decline to set up withholdings. In that case, your Buylist will not display on the TCGplayer Marketplace. However, you will still be able to display your Buylist on your Pro website and Showcase kiosks to advertise in-store trade-ins.
Finally, add the cards you want to purchase to your buylist by indicating the quantity, condition, and price you’re willing to pay for each.
That’s it! We’ll use the list you create and the funds you set aside to purchase the cards you want from players all over the country. Those players will then ship the cards to us, we’ll check them for accuracy, then and add them to your Buylist Inventory in our warehouse. From there, whenever you’re ready, generate a Purchase Order, and we’ll ship your cards directly to you.
Before you begin, please confirm your address in the My Details tab of your Seller Portal and review the fees and shipping costs associated with Buylist.
