How Can I Fund My Store's TCGplayer Buylist?
If you're enrolled in TCGplayer Buylist, you can instruct TCGplayer to buy cards on your behalf using money you've set aside. Visit the My Withholding and Settings link on your account page to control how much money you set aside for the Buylist, as well as how often this amount replenishes.
You can use TCGplayer Buylist without setting up withholdings. In that case, TCGplayer will not buy cards on your behalf, but you will still be able to display your Buylist on your Pro Website and Showcase kiosks. That way you can maintain and advertise the list of cards you're willing to purchase from players in-store.
Terms You’ll Need to Know
Maximum Withholding - the total amount of funds you choose to withhold for Buylist purchases
For example, if you set your Maximum Withholding to $1,000 and your account currently has $990 in it, we’ll only reserve $10 the next time we replenish your Withholdings.
Current Withholding - the total amount of funds currently withheld for Buylist purchases
Note: You can request this money back at any time, but you will not be able to request back more than the Available Buying Power you currently have.
Pending Purchases - the amount of your funds that we hold as we process your Buylist Pricing List offers (updated every time we make a Buylist purchase on your behalf)
Available Buying Power - the amount of money you currently have available in the Buylist to use for purchasing products (updated every time we make a Buylist purchase on your behalf)
In Short: Current Withholding - Pending Purchases = Available Buying Power
Fund Withholding Options
You get to set up the method by which funds are added to your Withholdings. Here are your three choices:
1. Withhold a flat amount per payment from your TCGplayer earnings.
You can choose to withhold between $0 and $10,000 of your earnings each pay period. The default amount is $500. We’ll then deposit those funds into your Withholdings Account to use for your Buylist purchases.
2. Withhold a percentage per payment from your TCGplayer earnings.
You can choose to withhold between 0% and 100% of your earnings each pay period. The default is 50%. We’ll then deposit those funds into your Withholdings Account to use for your Buylist purchases.
3. Set up a one-time payment via wire transfer.
For wire transfers, please contact us and we’ll provide you with the necessary information. Funds will become available once the transfer clears. Our team will apply this one-time payment to your Buylist Withholdings and provide confirmation of receipt.
