Getting Started

The Bulk Update feature is an extremely useful and efficient way for your store to update information across all items under a specific search. Updates can include pricing or stock quantities. This article will focus on quickly setting a standard, bulk price for specifically detailed products. 

For example, by using this feature, your store can update all MTG Commons at a set price for bulk buying

Bulk Updating Buy Price

While this article is focused primarily on Bulk Updates for buy pricing, there are many other adjustments and customization option that are possible when using the Bulk update search feature in the POS. In order to begin bulk updating products, follow these steps:

1. From the BinderPOS Portal, select Products
2. From the Products page, fill in the necessary information. We recommend:
   • Select Game - For example, Magic: The Gathering Singles
     
   • Product Type - For example, MTG Single
     
   • Rarities - For example: Common and Uncommon
     
3. After completing the search criteria, select Apply Filters
4. Find and select Bulk Update Search in the top righthand side of the page
5. Select both Fixed Buy Price [Cash] and Fixed Buy Price [Credit]
6. Input desired buy price for both of these categories
7. Double check that both Percentage Buy Price [Cash} and Percentage Buy Price [Credit] are both left blank
8. Select Push Bulk Update

After completing this Bulk Update, your buy pricing for all of the cards within those specified categories will automatically be adjusted. Remember that you may have to follow up with these price adjustments as new cards are added. We recommend having scheduled times for Bulk Updates, such as after major sets are released, just to make sure that no cards are missed!
