You must create a Till to use in the POS Settings before enabling the Point of Sale

Float Adjustment

What is a Float Adjustment?

If you have to adjust the amount of cash in the till, you can do a float adjustment. This can either add or subtract the amount of a tender type; cash, credit, and EFTPOS. However, cash adjustments are the most likely use of the float adjustments.

  1. Click the Open/Close button on the top menu of the POS
  2. From here you can select Float Adjustment
  3. Select the tender type to adjust
  4. Type the amount you would like to take out or add to the till
  5. Type any notes, if needed
  6. Click Submit Adjustment

How to Close the Till

  1. Click the Open/Close button on the top menu of the POS
  2. From here, you can count the cash, credit, and EFTPOS sales
  3. Type the amounts in the End of Day Count
