Getting Started
The POS Notes feature allows you to attach general notes and other extra information to a point of sale cart. This information can be retrieved and viewed later within the BinderPOS portal. Feel free to include any information that you or your employees feel is relevant.
This feature is especially convenient when adding sales notes to specific customer profiles

Creating Notes
You can quickly create a note within the BinderPOS Point of Sale by clicking Add Note above the cart area as shown in the image below:
You can type general notes in the main text box or add information to the custom fields (see the last section for how to define those.
Retrieving Notes
You can view notes within the History & Refunds area. They will appear, along with custom fields, under the Payment Details section.
Defining Custom Fields
You can define extra fields in the Extra Notes Field menu of POS Settings page. These are simply textboxes with custom names that you can use to store specific information.
Fields can be removed by clicking on the garbage can icon and fields can be added by typing a name in the text box and clicking Add
