Integrated Terminal: Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. I currently use Merchant Match or CardKnox - What do I do?

A: You can continue to use the PAX S300 provided through Merchant Match or CardKnox, however BinderPOS will no longer provide support or fixes for the PAX S300 after January 26, 2023. If you are interested in a new device, please reach out to GPSpay at bindersupport@gpspay.us. 

 

 

2. How do I contact GPSpay?

3. What are integrated payments? 

A: Integrated payments allow the total to appear on the card reader automatically. You may choose to not use integrated payments, but then the total cost must be punched into the payment processor machine.

 

 

4. Do I have to use an integrated payment processor? 

A: No, you do not have to use integrated payments. Sellers can use any card reader and any company they wish that is not locked to specific software. Please note, BinderPOS will not be able to assist or support non-integrated payment terminals if issues occur. 

 

 

5. Can I use split checkout with integrated payments? 

A: No, the split checkout feature cannot be used with integrated payments at this time.

 

6. Is this integrated payment solution available if I am based outside of the United States? 

A: No, our integrated payment solution is only available for users based in the United States. You also have the option to not use integrated payments. In this case, you will have manual payments. With manual payments, you can use any terminal that is not locked into specific software and any merchant provider; however, you must also type in the amount to be charged on the terminal before the card is applied. Please note, we cannot provide technical support for the card terminal or payment gateway when not using integrated payments with our approved merchant provider.
