What do I do if my package is missing?

 

How can I purchase from your site if I don’t live in the U.S.?

To begin, visit a product page, like this one for Noble Hierarch (Modern Masters 2015). Scroll to the bottom of the left-hand sidebar and find the filter labeled “Shipping Country.”

(Note: Canada, the UK, Australia and Japan are our top international destinations, with Canada being number one.)

If you live outside the US, you can shop on TCGplayer.com using PayPal. Residents of Canada can also pay with credit cards.

To make a payment with PayPal without having a credit card linked to your PayPal account, you must have the total amount of your purchase in your PayPal account balance. PayPal does not offer transfers directly from your bank account without having a backup credit card tied to the account. You will need to move funds from your bank account into your PayPal account and use your PayPal balance as the method of payment.

All purchases on our site are in US Dollars as we are located in New York. We don't currently have a currency convertor on our site but you can find quite a few handy websites that will help you figure out the difference due to the exchange rate.

Please also keep in mind, some banks charge additional fees for money being converted from your origin country to US dollars so always be aware that there could be some hidden fees applied by your banking institution.

If you already have a credit card listed on your PayPal account but PayPal is blocking your Instant Transfer, your account may have been limited by PayPal. You will need to contact PayPal directly to learn more about their Funding Options and Limitations. 

TCGplayer suggests that you utilize a confirmed PayPal address when ordering from our site.  

PayPal Buyers can confirm an address in the following manner:

  1. Add a credit card to your PayPal account. PayPal will confirm the credit card billing address (i.e., the address where you receive your credit card statement).
  2. Apply for PayPal Smart Connect. If you’re approved, the address on your application will be a Confirmed Address.

When will I receive my order?

An estimated delivery date will be provided for your package on the order history page. If your package does not arrive by the estimated delivery date, please message the seller via your Order History and let them know that the order has been lost in transit. The seller will then help you track down the package by working directly with the international shipping company they used.

  • International Tracking:
    • All orders from TCGplayer Direct have tracking applied automatically!
    • Marketplace orders from TCGplayer sellers over $50 before tax and shipping are applied typically have tracking included, as it is a requirement for marketplace sellers.
    • Our enhanced tracking system provides tracking updates for the above-mentioned orders. For these orders, you will receive an estimated delivery date based on tracking updates.
    • Note this tracking might not display up-to-date information after your package leaves the United States; it is not a guarantee that international tracked orders will show door-to-door tracking updates.

Alternative Options for International Customers

If you have a friend or family member who lives in the United States, you're welcome to place an order with a domestically funded credit card (or via PayPal) and have the order shipped to them. The credit card account you use must be tied to a domestic account if you are shipping to a U.S. address. Please keep in mind that if your billing information does not match what your bank has on file for your account, your order cannot be accepted.

Freight and Mail Forwarders

Please be aware that if you are utilizing a mail forwarding address, your order is not covered by the same level of Buyer Protection as an order that ships from the US to your actual international location.

  • TCGplayer is not responsible for damage, condition issues, or loss that occurs to goods after they're delivered to you or your freight forwarder. What this means for you as a customer is that TCGplayer, or sellers on the marketplace, aren’t able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any goods confirmed as delivered to you or your freight forwarder by the shipping provider. You should refuse any packages that arrive damaged and instruct your freight forwarder to do the same, as any goods lost after being received by you or the freight forwarder will be your responsibility.

Taxes and Duties

Packages shipped from TCGplayer sellers may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which your order ships. These charges are the recipient's responsibility. Currently, we are not able to provide all of our international customers with the quality of service they deserve. TCGplayer sellers cannot support sales to our friends in the countries listed below at this time:

What do I do if my package is missing?

For International packages with tracking

You can track your package via the Order History page. The shipping method for your package will be listed on the order and in your shipment confirmation email.  

Missing Package — status not changing, delayed, or “undeliverable”:

If it has been more than 4 business days and the package has not updated to show an acceptance scan from one of the above statuses:

  • Contact the seller to request a status update on the shipment. If the seller does not reply to you within 2 business days, please contact TCGplayer Customer Service.

If the package is not located and delivered successfully to your address:

  • The seller should offer you a full refund for the missing parcel with the understanding that if the package is successfully delivered to you at a future date, you will mark the order as "return to sender" and place it back into your mailbox. If you would like to keep the package, you will reach out to the seller and TCGplayer Customer Service so we can organize repayment for the order.

Missing Package — marked as delivered:

  •  Verify your shipping address associated with the order.
  • If the address is correct, look for a notice of attempted delivery by your mail carrier.
  •  Look around the delivery location for your package and ask any family members or housemates if it is possible they received the package on your behalf and did not tell you.
    • If you're comfortable, reach out to your neighbors to see if the package was delivered accidentally to their address.
  • It may also be helpful to contact your local postal service responsible for the delivery to see if they are holding the parcel for any reason or if there have been any reported delivery delays in your area.
  • Please wait 36 hours after the parcel is marked as "Delivered," in some cases packages may say "Delivered" up to 36 hours prior to arrival.
  • Contact TCGplayer Customer Service right away, our team will work with you to resolve the dispute, it may take a few days, so your patience is greatly appreciated.
  • If the package is not located and delivered successfully to your address:
    • TCGplayer Customer Service will offer you a full refund for the missing parcel with the understanding that if the package is successfully delivered to you at a future date, you will mark the order as "return to sender" and place it back into your mailbox.  If you would like to keep the package, you will reach out to TCGplayer Customer Service so we can organize repayment for the order.

For International packages without tracking

  • Contact the seller right away per our TCGplayer Safeguard.  If the seller does not reply to you within 2 business days, please contact TCGplayer Customer Service.
  •  Verify your shipping address associated with the order.
  •  Look around the delivery location for your package and ask any family members or housemates if it is possible they received the package on your behalf and did not tell you.
    • If you're comfortable, reach out to your neighbors to see if the package was delivered accidentally to their address.
  • It may also be helpful to contact your local post office / customs agency responsible for the delivery to see if they are holding the parcel for any reason or if there have been any reported delivery delays in your area. 

If the package is not located and delivered successfully to your address:

The seller should offer you a full refund for the missing parcel with the understanding that if the package is successfully delivered to you at a future date, you will mark the order as "return to sender" and place it back into your mailbox. If you would like to keep the package, you will reach out to the seller and TCGplayer Customer Service so we can organize repayment for the order.

*NOTE: Due to this new global reach, there may be a language barrier. Be prepared to use a translating service to make this process easier for you and your seller.
