Getting Started

Once the eBay integration is enabled and the policies have been set up, you can then create Bulk Settings or Individual Settings in the integration. Creating these settings allows you to list items in your inventory to eBay. These rules can be changed later if needed. All Bulk or Individual Settings need attributes for the products to list to eBay.

Listing Attributes

What are Listing Attributes Used For?

For the integration to create listings to eBay, you need to add a title and description. The easiest way to do this is to add attributes from the Insert Attribute drop down. When creating a setting, the title has less options than the listing description. Adding the Clean Title attribute is one of the easiest ways to create the unique listing name. In the Title, Mobile Description, and Listing Description, you can add in a combination of attributes and text to make the listing unique and suit your store's needs.

Not adding a Clean Title or Variant Title to the listing title will result in an error where all items will try to list as the same name on eBay and not work

Custom Attributes

What are Custom Attributes?

Custom Attributes are attributes you may need to add to bulk or individual rules to properly list an item through the eBay integration. These attributes can be things like Game, Set, Brand, and more.

"How do I know I need to add Custom Attributes?" If you try to list an item that needs these custom attributes, the item will have an error stating that it needs more information, like the Game, Set, Brand, etc.

Custom attributes are often times needed for creating bulk settings for items not a part of the BinderPOS catalog

The Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) of a product is a field that is paired with the brand field to identify a product and may be required by eBay

"What is the Brand MPN?" The Brand MPN is the Manufacturer Part Number that is often times required by eBay depending on the category used. The MPN Value of a product may automatically be populated for an inventory item if the seller specifies an eBay Product ID (ePID) or a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) and eBay is able to find a matching product in the eBay catalog.

Product Details, including any product identifier(s) such as UPC, ISBN, EAN, or Brand/MPN pair, a product description, product title, product/item aspects, and links to images will be used by eBay to match the item to the eBay catalog. eBay will use any supplied ePID or GTIN (UPC,ISBN, or EAN) and attempt to match those identifiers to a product in the eBay catalog, and if a product match is found the product details for the inventory item will automatically be populated.
