Getting Started

One of the biggest benefits of utilizing Premium Theme Multi is the ability to switch between one of the three themes and overridden theme settings available in Premium Theme Multi through use of the Theme Selector. This page will focus on explaining how to adjust and switch between these settings step-by-step.

Finding the Theme Selector

In order to utilize the Theme Selector to switch between themes, please follow these steps:

  1. From your myShopify homepage, go to Online Store > Themes
  2. Find and click Customize
  3. You will see the customization menu on the left of your screen. To the left of this sidebar, you will notice three icons. Please click the middle icon that looks like a paint brush.
  4. Find and select the drop down arrow next to Theme Selector.

Utilizing the Theme Selector

Once you have found and opened the Theme Selector menu, you will notice several areas for customization. These include:

  • Master Theme Style
  • Header Override
  • Footer Override
  • Show Theme Sidebar
  • Sidebar Position
  • Make Sidebar Sticky
  • Show Nav Slider

Master Theme Style

The Master Theme Style section features a drop-down menu allowing for switching between the themes available in the Premium Theme Multi kit. There are four options: Theme One, Theme Two, and Theme Three.

Header Override

The Header Override section features a drop-down menu allowing for switching between the Header styles available within the different themes. For example, this allows for the use of Theme One under the Master Theme Style section generally, while using the Theme Two Header specifically. This allows for certain portions of the theme to be overridden according to your store's preferences. The available options are: Use Master Setting, Theme One, Theme Two, and Theme Three.

Footer Override

The Footer Override section features a drop-down menu allowing for switching between the Footer styles available within the different themes. For example, this allows for the use of Theme One under the Master Theme Style section generally, while using the Theme Two Footer specifically. This allows for certain portions of the theme to be overridden according to your store's preferences. The available options are: Use Master Setting, Theme One, Theme Two, and Theme Three.

Show Theme Sidebar

This section features a tick box allowing for the display of a Theme Sidebar to be present on the store homepage. We recommend playing around with these features in order to find the setting that best fits your store.

Sidebar Position

This section features a drop-down menu allowing for the position of the sidebar to be customized. If you have chosen to select Show Theme Sidebar, then the Sidebar Position section allows for further customization. The position placements are: Right and Left.

Make Sidebar Sticky

This section features a tick box allowing for further customization of the Theme Sidebar. If you have chosen to enable this through the Show Theme Sidebar section, then the Make Sidebar Sticky section allows for you to enable a sticky sidebar. A sticky sidebar is one that stays in position as your customers scroll down the homepage. If this section is not enabled, then your customers can scroll past the sidebar as they scroll down the homepage.

Show Nav. Slider

This section features a tick box allowing for the display of a Navigation Slider. We recommend playing around with this feature in order to find the settings that fit your store best.
