Getting Started
The Recent Blog Articles block is a useful tool for highlighting a specific blog and allowing the most recent posts to that blog to appear on your store's homepage. This will also allow for customers to find their way to all of the articles present in the linked blog. Remember that blogs are a great way of helping your customers stay up to date on progress, changes, and general information concerning your store. Finding the Recent Blog Articles Block
In order to find the customization screen for and adjust your Recent Blog Articles Block, please follow these steps:
- From your myShopify homepage, go to Online Store > Themes
- Find and click Customize
- You will see the customization menu on the left of your screen. Click Add Section > Recent Articles (Blogs)
Customizing the Recent Blog Articles Block
Once you have found and opened the Recent Articles (Blogs) customization menu, you will notice several areas for customization. These include: Section Title and Blog.
Section Title
This section includes a text box allowing for the customization of the Section Title, or heading, for your Recent Blog Articles section.
Blog
This section allows for the linking of a previously made blog. You will not be linking specific articles here, but instead specific blogs which will display recently posted articles. In order to do this, click Select Blog. After this, link your desired blog. It will look something like this:
