Getting Started

The Cart Page is the page that your customers will see when viewing their cart or for preparing to checkout. 

Finding the Cart Page

In order to find the customization screen for and adjust your Cart Page, please follow these steps:

1. From your myShopify homepage, go to Online Store > Themes
2. Find and click Customize
3. Find the drop-down menu at the top center of your screen labeled Home Page
4. Drop down and select Cart
5. On the customization panel on the left side of the screen, find and select Cart Page

Customizing the Cart Page

Once you have found and opened the Cart Page customization menu, you will notice several areas for customization. These include:

• Enable Order Notes
• Allow Checkout with Store Credit
• Show Payment Icons
• Gift Wrap Product
• Gift Wrap Text
• Gift Wrap Button
• Show Shipping Rates Calculator
• Shipping Default Country
• Shipping Heading
• Upsell Heading
• Upsell Collection
• Upsell Products to Show

Enable Order Notes

This section includes a tick box that allows for a text box to be displayed on your store's cart page. This text box allows for customers to add custom notes to their order.

Allow Checkout with Store Credit

This section includes a tick box that allows for customers to pay for their order with store credit. If this is not enabled, customers will not see the option to pay for their order with store credit.

Show Payment Icons

This section includes a tick box allow for the display of icons matching the payment methods that your store accepts.

Gift Wrap Product

This section allows for your store to add a Gift Wrap product, which has been previously created, to be linked to the page. This allows for customers to choose a gift wrap option that will automatically add the product you link here. To begin, click Select Product and then choose the appropriate product. It will look something like this:

Gift Wrap Text

This section features a text box allowing for a brief message concerning gift wrapping.

Gift Wrap Button

This section features a text box allowing for the message on the Gift Wrap Button to be customized.

Show Shipping Rates Calculator

This section features a text box that gives an estimated shipping cost based on the Shipping Default Country or the address listed in the customer's account.

Shipping Default Country

This section features a text box allowing for a default country to be added to your store for the Shipping Rates Calculator. Please note that this is only applicable for customers who haven't added an address to their account.

Shipping Heading

This section includes a text box allowing for a Heading to be given above the Shipping Rates Calculator.

Upsell Heading

This section includes a text box allowing for a Heading to be listed above the Upsell section. This section will focus on recommending similar items that customers may be interested in.

Upsell Collection

This section includes a drop-down menu allowing for a collection, one made prior to this customization, to be linked to this Upsell Collection section. Once you click Select Collection, you will see something like this:

Upsell Products to Show

This section includes a scrolling cline that allows for the number of upsell recommended products to be adjusted. This number ranges from 4 to 12.
