Getting Started

The Vertical List Collections block is a listing block where pre-made collections will be displayed vertically in up to three columns. Because you are only able to display three collections vertically in each of these Vertical List Collections blocks, you will need to manually add more blocks if you are hoping to display more than three collections on your store's homepage. That being said, this is an incredibly convenient tool for displaying a collection's products in an easily scrollable, vertical format.

Finding Vertical List Collections

In order to find the customization screen for your store's webpage, and in order to adjust your Vertical List Collections, please follow these steps:

1. From your myShopify homepage, go to Online Store > Themes
2. Find and click Customize
3. You will see the customization menu on the left of your screen. Click the drop down arrow next to Vertical List Collections
4. Select Add Collection
5. Select the newly added collection
6. If you do not see Vertical List Collections, scroll to the bottom of the customization menu and select Add section
7. From here, find and select Vertical List Collections to add the block to your page

Customizing Vertical List Collections

Once you have found and opened your Vertical List Collections blocks, you will notice several areas for customization. These are:

• Collection Title
• Section Title Color
• Collection

Collection Title

This section includes a text box allowing for the customization of a content title. This title will be positioned above the products being displayed in the block. For the Collection Title, we recommend something attention grabbing and catchy to capture the eye of customers.

Section Title Color

This section allows for the customization of the color of the Collection Title of each block.

When customizing a section of your webpage and given the option to choose a color, you will have the opportunity to drag the cursor over general colors or input a HEX code for specific shades. We recommend playing around with this feature to come up with what works best for your store

Collection

This section allows for a previously made collection to be attached to your Vertical List Collections block. Once you have clicked Select Collection, you will notice a drop-down menu allowing for you to choose the linked collection. That will look like this:
