How to Add and Customize Featured Collections

Getting Started

The Featured Collection tool is a handy means for displaying specific, highlighted collections on your store's homepage. It is important to note that while this section does no limit the number of displayed collections, they will be displayed two wide and as many down as you add.

Finding Featured Collections

Following the creation of your store's collections, you will want to create and fully customize the Featured Collection block sets displayed on your page. In order to do begin doing so, please follow these steps:

From your myShopify homepage, go to Online Store > Themes
Find and click Customize
You will see the customization menu on the left of your screen. Find Featured Collections
From Featured Collections, select the drop down arrow and select Add Featured Collections
Select the new item block

Adding and Customizing Featured Collections

Once you have opened your new item block, you will want to begin by customizing and clearly presenting your promotion blocks. As you begin this process, you will notice the following categories for customization:

Title
Button Text
Button URL
Paragraph
Collection

Title

This section includes a text box allowing for the customization of the Featured Collection's Title. This will be positioned above Button and Paragraph, which describe and link to the collection being displayed on the homepage. For the Title, we recommend something catchy and informative.

Button Text

This section includes a text box allowing for the customization of the message that will appear on your block's content Button.

Button URL

This section includes a text box that allows for your store to connect a link to the above Button. You can utilize this text box to insert either a direct link through a URL or by selecting the text box and searching through collections. It will appear something like this:

Paragraph

This section includes a text box allowing for the customization of a content description. This will be positioned between the Title and Button and serves to describe the collection being displayed in the block. We recommend using a short and succinct message here, if any at all.

Collection

This section includes a drop-down menu allowing for a collection, one made prior to this customization, to be linked to this Featured Collections section. Once you click Select Collection, you will see something like this:
