The Wizards Play Network (WPN) badge is currently in a pilot period and limited to select Sellers. The pilot period is expected to last a few weeks. After the pilot period, the WPN badge will be available to all WPN retailers. We will share more information as soon as the pilot period is complete.

What is a WPN badge on TCGplayer?
Coming spring 2025, select Wizards Play Network retailers will have the option to participate in a pilot period to display a WPN badge next to their TCGplayer store name. By displaying this badge, retailers gain greater marketplace visibility and are recognized as trusted retail partners of Wizards of the Coast, instilling buyer confidence by signaling to customers they are purchasing from a Wizards-verified local game store.
Additionally, a Wizards Play Network seller qualifies as a Certified Hobby Shop (CHS). We will automatically be applying a CHS badge to Wizards Play Network sellers.
How do I sign up for the WPN badge?
Currently, we are running a pilot period where you can submit an application for a WPN badge.
When will the WPN badge be out of the pilot period?
The WPN badge will be out of the pilot period and available to all WPN retailers in the first half of 2025. We will share more information as soon as the pilot period is complete.
What are the qualifications for WPN Badge?
- Be part of the WPN program.
- Have a seller account on TCGplayer that is in good standing.
- Have a WPN badge application approved by Wizards of the Coast.
Why is my application taking so long?
The Wizards of the Coast team has received an overwhelming amount of interest in this program, which has led to a large volume of applications. The Wizards of the Coast team is working diligently to review each one. After the pilot period, please wait up to 5 business days before reaching out on the status of your application.
Where can I check the status of my application?
You can submit a ticket with your inquiry to Wizards of the Coast.
When will I know that my application is approved?
TCGplayer will send you an email once your application is approved.
How long will it take for the WPN badge to show up?
After the pilot period, once the application is approved, it can take up to 48 hours to see the WPN badge.
