What is the TCGplayer Pro Retail app and how do I use it?

The TCGplayer Pro Retail app, available exclusively for Pro sellers, improves your in-store experience by providing a faster way to view and manage your in-store pickup orders. Instead of using your Seller Portal through a desktop computer, the app lets you handle orders through an iPad anywhere in your store.

Download the app

The TCGplayer Pro Retail app is available for iPad on the Apple Store. You can find it by searching for “TCGplayer Pro Retail.”

Log in to the app

Log in using your Pro account email and password. You can also log in with other user accounts you’ve created on the Pro Settings tab of your Seller Portal, as long as they have permission to perform actions on all orders.

If you have trouble logging in, click Forgot Password to reset your password.

View in-store pickup orders

From the Orders page, you can view your pending and fulfilled orders.

Pending Orders: This section displays in-store pickup orders which require your attention. All of these orders have a status of Received, Pulling or Ready for Pickup.

Fulfilled Orders: This section displays in-store pickup orders which your customers have picked up and paid for.

The Orders page displays the following information about each order:

  • Buyer Name
  • Order Number
  • Product Price w/ tax shown below
  • Order Total (product + tax)
  • Quantity (total # of products in the order)
  • Order Status w/ Buyer Paid status shown below (Unpaid or Paid)

View order details

You can view all your orders on the Orders page. To check the product picture for a particular order, click the card thumbnail to see a larger version of the image. You can get more information about the order itself by clicking the order clicking the entry on the Orders page. The Order Details pane will open and display the following information:

  • Buyer Name
  • Order Number
  • Cost Breakdown
    • Item Total
    • Subtotal
    • Tax
  • Date Created
  • Order Status
  • Payment Status
  • Update Status button
  • Accept Payment button
  • Product Info
    • Category/Set
    • Product/Rarity/Language
    • Condition/Printing
    • Qty
    • Item Price

Click the Update Status button to update your order's progression. A new box will open and you can then select the new status:

  • Pulling Order
  • Ready for Pickup
  • Picked Up

When you tap Picked Up, you will see a modal that lets you confirm payment. Once you confirm that your customer paid, the order’s payment status will update. If you cancel payment confirmation, the status will remain Unpaid.

Note: Orders will not move from Pending to Fulfilled until you confirm payment.

Close the app

The TCGplayer Pro Retail app will remember your login information even after you close it, so you can pick up right where you left off. If you want to log out, tap the account icon in the upper right corner and select Log Out.
