Seller Storefront FAQ
What happens to my seller storefront if I have no listed products on the Marketplace?
The page’s Shop tab will hide the product grid and display a message stating your store does not currently have any items available.
How does the listing page determine the order listings are shown?
If the listing page has more than one listing available, they are shown in ascending order by lowest price. There is currently no other criteria that may affect the order of listings,
What happens to my seller storefront and/or listing pages if my store is in an inactive status
This is visually treated the same as a seller not having inventory; the seller’s storefront Shop tab will hide the product grid and display a message stating the seller does not currently have any items available, and any listing pages would be treated the same as out of stock. When the seller’s status changes, if they have Marketplace inventory the experience will revert to showing those products again.
How do products shown in these areas work with presale status?
Products in a presale state are displayed the same as other areas of the site and tagged accordingly.
How does the “shop by seller” functionality interact with the storefront?
Unlike most areas of the site, a buyer with the “shop this seller” function enabled will not impact the visibility of products on any storefront or its listing pages.
When sorting by high or low price on my storefront, why do the products seem out of order?
Sorting by price arranges products by their market price, as it does in search results. This may give the impression that products are sorted out of order if strictly viewing the available listing price.
