The Flesh and Blood GEM Store badge is currently in an initial sign-up period, which will extend through the summer. Starting this fall, the GEM Store badge will be added to verified GEM Store retailers’ TCGplayer storefronts and product listings. We will share more information closer to the launch date.

What are Flesh and Blood GEM Stores (GEM)?

Flesh and Blood GEM Stores are a global network of over 5,000 local game stores building community through organized play and a shared love of the game. They are at the heart of the Flesh and Blood ecosystem, creating welcoming spaces for players to connect, compete, and grow together. Learn more about GEM.

What is a GEM badge on TCGplayer?

Coming fall 2026, GEM Store retailers will have the option to display a GEM badge next to their TCGplayer store name. By displaying this badge, retailers gain greater marketplace visibility and are recognized as trusted retail partners of Legend Story Studios, instilling buyer confidence by signaling to customers they are purchasing from a Flesh and Blood-verified local game store.

Additionally, a GEM Store seller qualifies as a Certified Hobby Shop (CHS). We will automatically be applying a CHS badge to GEM Store sellers.

How do I sign up for the GEM Store badge?

Currently, we are running a sign-up period where you can submit an application for a GEM Store badge.

What are the qualifications for GEM Store Badge?

1. Be part of the GEM program.
2. Have a seller account on TCGplayer that is in good standing.
3. Have a GEM badge application approved by Legend Story Studios.

How long will my application take? 

The sign-up period will remain open through the summer. During this time, the Legend Story Studios team will collect and review applications. Approved GEM Store retailers can expect GEM Store badges to become available on TCGplayer this fall.

When will I know that my application is approved?

TCGplayer will send you an email about four (4) weeks before the launch in the fall.

How long will it take for the GEM Store badge to show up?

The GEM Store badge program is expected to launch on TCGplayer this fall. After the initial sign-up period, applications will be reviewed by the Legend Story Studios team. Once your application is approved and the GEM Store badge program is live, it may take up to 48 hours for the badge to appear on your TCGplayer storefront and product listings.
