Registering as a Seller on TCGplayer

We’ll guide you through a few verification steps as you set up your seller account. We may confirm your identity, your checking account for payouts, and your business information if you’re registering as a business.

Completing each step carefully helps us verify your information and can help prevent delays in receiving your payouts.

Before you start

A quick check now can help things go smoothly:

Enter your information exactly as it appears on your account and supporting documents.
Make sure any documents you upload are current, complete, and easy to read.
Make sure the name and account type on your checking account match the information you use to register on TCGplayer.

Step 1: Confirm your identity

To sell on TCGplayer, we’ll need to confirm your identity. If you’re registering as a business, we’ll also need to confirm information about your business and, when applicable, anyone acting on its behalf.

If you’re registering as an individual, be ready to provide:

Full name
Address, including country of residence
Phone number
Date of birth

If you’re registering as a business, be ready to provide:

Legal business name exactly as it appears on your business registration documents
Doing Business As (DBA) name, if you have one
Business address, including country of registration or residence

Your business address must be a physical place of business. PO Boxes aren’t accepted.

Tip: Take a moment to check that names and addresses match your official information before continuing.

Step 2: Upload documents if we ask for them

In some cases, we may need additional documentation to complete verification.

If you see a banner on your TCGplayer account, select the banner and follow the steps on the Account Verification page to upload the requested documents.

Before you submit a document, make sure it:

Is current and not expired
Matches the information on your TCGplayer account
Is clear and easy to read
Shows the full document from edge to edge, including all four corners

Blurry images or documents with information cut off may prevent us from verifying your details.

Before you submit: Check the document one more time for readability and matching information.

Step 3: Link your checking account for payouts

To receive payouts, you’ll need to link a checking account to your TCGplayer account.

The names on both accounts need to match:

Personal account: Your first and last name should match on your checking account and TCGplayer account.
Business account: The business name on your checking account should match the business name you use to register on TCGplayer.

Your account types also need to match. For example, if you register for a business TCGplayer account, you’ll need to use a business checking account.

Have this information ready:

Name on the checking account
Bank name
Routing number
Account number

Step 4: Complete any additional bank verification

If we can’t verify your linked checking account using the information provided, we may ask you to complete another verification step.

If your bank appears in the Add a bank account list, select it and log in directly with your bank credentials.

If your bank isn’t listed, choose the manual bank-entry option and enter your information manually.

You’re all set

Once we verify your information, we’ll email you to let you know your seller account setup is complete.

If we need anything else from you, we may contact you or show a banner on your TCGplayer account with the next step to take.
