Marketplace Fee Cap Increase FAQ

How do these changes affect TCGplayer Pro and Direct sellers?

There is no impact to TCGplayer Pro and Direct sellers for the Marketplace Seller (Level 1-4 Account) fee change. All sellers can expect to see an increase in their marketplace commissions when an item exceeds the prior fee cap.

How is the marketplace fee cap calculated?

Marketplace commission and Pro fees are capped at $75 per product sold. Marketplace commission and Pro fees are calculated per item sold, not per order.

Example: An order that contains two $1,000 cards would have a total Marketplace commission and Pro fee of $150 ($75 cap applied to each card).

Where can I see detailed fee tables and examples?

Our current fees are available on our Fees help page. Detailed examples of fee calculations are available here
